Books & Recipes. Researched.

641 - that's my favorite number. It's Dewey for the place where cookbooks are cataloged in a library. I'm constantly curious and always on the lookout for the next great meal, whether it is something we order or cook ourselves. My husband and I live with our rescue dog, Napa, in that part of New Jersey where you can be anywhere in less than an hour - NYC, the beach, the mountains, the airport! Well, anywhere if there's no traffic. 

So, who am I? I'm a collector of recipes and passport stamps. A dog mom. A Library Media Specialist. A book reviewer. A FReadom Fighter. A photographer. A yogi. A wanderer. A writer. 

I was born with green thumbs and a book in my hand. I take things way too seriously (most of the time).

So, what's happening here? 

What if we applied media literacy skills to all of the books, blogs, and recipes that are constantly coming at us? There's a lot out there and not everything is created equally. A librarian helps people find quality information. We curate resources and create displays that are designed to inspire. I'd like to help point you in the direction of amazing food and experiences.
